Our team and the company-wide culture is the most important aspect of our company. A culture of inclusiveness and being able make decisions quickly to benefit our customers is crucial.

Our team! ‘Team Premier’ emphasizes satisfaction above sales volume. We strive to act like a partner to our clients and combine traditional values with innovative ideas to deliver unparalleled service. We also work hard on building strong relationships with our vendors for pricing and service. Most go back over 30 years.
What would you say to a homeowner interested, but unsure of the process?

What is a fun fact about you?
The most fun day ever at work was in 1994, after winning a major award while serving in the Air Force at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas. The base General surprised me with a one-hour flight in an F-15. It included flying the Las Vegas strip upside down and they also launched two Thunderbird F-16’s to ‘sneak up’ on each side of me with thumbs up from each pilot to congratulate me and thank me. Pretty cool day at work! Kitchens are fun, but…

Professional:
How did you first become interested in design?
I actually graduated with a BFA in Photography from RIT. The owner of KBP needed help with outside sales and I’m always eager to learn new things. So I approached kitchen design like a visual art and the rest came naturally.
What is the best part of remodeling?
When the project is complete, and in the end customer the loves their new space. That, for me, is the best part.
Personal:
If you could design any room for any client, what/who would you choose?
A basement retro club for Jim Morrison or Janis Joplin.
What do you love about KBP?
The collaboration amongst fellow designers. We bounce ideas off of each other, no one is ever too busy to offer an opinion, and no one ever takes criticism to heart if it can make the design more functional. We are a family owned company and it shows in our working together.
What advice would you give someone considering a kitchen remodel?
Trust the process. Don’t be afraid to take a chance on a design element you might love. It’s your space!

I have always loved design since when I can first remember. HGTV’s Love It or List It was one of my favorite shows – I always wanted to be Hillary Farr. I was obsessed with almost every design she executed.
What is your favorite design style and why?
Definitely mid-century modern – I find it so timeless. The use of teak wood and earthy tones is my favorite. It just makes a space feel so organic and relaxing while the furniture/decor is always so unique and interesting to look at – I can go on and on!
